Curriculum Development Strategy through the BTQ Program in Improving the Quality of Islamic Primary Education

Abstract

Improving the quality of education has become a priority at every level of education. Curriculum development is one of the strategies for improving the quality of education, where in the selection of program implementation, the curriculum development strategy must be precisely aligned with the needs of the community. The research approach used is qualitative with a multi-case study type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and documentation. Next, the data is analyzed using an interactive model that begins with data condensation, data presentation, and finally drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that the strategy for improving the quality of education is carried out through curriculum development via the BTQ program. This strategy is considered the most appropriate after an analysis of both internal and external factors. This strategic program is implemented in classroom learning using the A Nuur method and periodic evaluations at the end of the semester by reviewing report cards and student monitoring books, which will then be followed up for program implementation improvements in the next period.
